We love antiques and everything old fashioned! We get inspiration from all things old. Shopping in antique stores is a treat we use to inspire us. Recently, we visited a museum with an antique quilt exhibit which proved to be the catalyst for this book. We enjoyed it so much, we paid to go back three times! We are in awe of the women who produced such beautiful works of art with none of the tools and gadgets we all enjoy today. Their quilts inspired us, and as a tribute to those women we created our own versions of their handiwork for you to enjoy.

More Timeless Inspirations

Our first collaboration, Timeless Inspirations, was so well-received (and so much fun in the making) we jumped at the opportunity to do it again. While this time around the patterns call for darker fabrics to create a scrappy look, they are still just as timeless. Additionally, we have included an easy to follow punchneedle embroidery design, incorporating the old needle art form in the midst of its revival. There is also a new tote pattern with matching accessory bags which will be perfect for any needle artist.

Cottage Creek Quilts and Hedgehog Quilts have joined together to bring you our first book. Our journey began when we discovered we share a fondness for the charm of loved and cherished antique quilts. The journey continued as we searched for the color story of our book. We loved "Gingham Rose" by Three Sisters . . . a Moda fabric. Then came "Paris Flea Market" and we were hooked! The fabrics, plus the classic patterns of days gone by have given us the inspiration to share these quilts with you that are . . . . . . Timeless.
